AAAA's commitment to building community is visible in the special events and family celebrations it hosts.  AAAA events raise awareness and honor the successes of adoptive and foster families.

Annual Holiday Party - The AAAA holiday party allows adoptive and foster families to celebrate the gifts of children and families.  Minnesota Vikings host the event at their Eden Prairie training facility.  The evening features games, prizes, entertainment and celebrity-athlete encounters for parents and children.

Biannual Conference - AAAA's conference offers training for parents and professionals.  It provides practical solutions for reducing the disparate number of children of color waiting for permanent and loving homes.  The conference also includes training sessions for foster and adoptive families on conflict resolution, creative parenting, dealing with the birth family and much more.
