AAAA is primarily focused on finding permanent homes for Minnesota's waiting children.  However, we also have the capability to unite adoptive families across geographic boundaries.

AAAA facilitates interstate adoption in two circumstances:

• Relative & kinship adoption - If you are a Minnesota resident seeking to adopt a member of your immediate or extended family network, AAAA will help you through the interstate adoption process.  International adoptions are only facilitated by AAAA in relative or kinship cases.
• Web-initiated adoption - If you are a Minnesota resident who has identified a child via an Internet site, we can develop the necessary home study and help ensure a smooth transition from the child's original state.  Fees may apply.
