WAITING CHILD ADOPTION

At any given time, there are nearly 400 children of color waiting for permanent homes in the state of Minnesota.

Many waiting children are older or part of a sibling group that would like to stay together.  Some are working to overcome physical, emotional or behavioral challenges.  Each urgently needs a family to nurture them through their mental and emotional development and help realize their full potential.

AAAA works to find flexible and patient parents for Waiting Children.  Our services are grounded in a philosophy of inclusion and partnership.  The adoption of Waiting Children is provided without fees.  No family is denied access based on income, age, education, profession, housing or marital status.

Waiting Child Adoption ends the impermanence of foster care and ensures every child grows up secure in the knowledge that they have a strong identity, family and community.
