SUPPORT SERVICES AAAA knows families grow and change over time. Therefore, our services do not end at placement or finalization. The AAAA meets the needs of its families by providing a number of post adoptive services. We work with families to identify specific needs and create tailored solutions.
2008 Lecture Series
"Black Hair and Skin Care" Don't miss this opportunity to learn from a "hair instructor" about hair and skin care for African Americans. Parents will be taught how to care for, groom, and manage their children's hair. Learn the basics; washing techniques, hair braiding, how to properly care for different types of hair and cleansing & moisturizing different skin types. Facilitated by Denise Martin, Licensed Executive Stylist; 20+ years of experience The Lecture Series is held at the AAAA office and is free to those with placement or adoption of a Minnesota Waiting Child.
